Refund policy
General
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, or plants), custom products (e.g., special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (e.g., beauty products).
We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
Please contact us if you have questions about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If the goods are being shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification.
As stated above, your item must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and inform you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please remember that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

ADDITIONAL TERMS
When you place an order electronically through www.elysechocolates.com you are deemed to have accepted the Preliminary Information Form and the Distance Sales Agreement.
Buyers are subject to the provisions of the Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Regulation on Distance Contracts, as well as other applicable legislation.
Unless otherwise stated, shipping costs are borne by the buyer.
Each product purchased is delivered to the address specified by the buyer within a maximum of 30 days.
If delivery is not made within this period, the buyer may terminate the contract.
If the seller becomes unable to supply the product, they shall notify the buyer within 3 days and refund the full amount within 14 days.
Failure to Pay
If the buyer does not pay or the payment is canceled in bank records, the seller’s obligation to deliver the product ceases.
Unauthorized Use of Credit Card
If, after delivery, it is determined that the payment was made using an unauthorized credit card and the bank does not pay the seller, the buyer must return the product within 3 days at the seller’s expense.
Force Majeure
If delivery cannot be made due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the seller’s control, the buyer will be informed.
The buyer may request:
• cancellation of the order
• replacement with a similar product
• postponement of delivery until the issue is resolved
Buyer’s Obligation to Inspect
The buyer must inspect the goods before accepting delivery and should not accept damaged or defective packages.
If a damaged product is accepted, responsibility belongs to the buyer.
Right of Withdrawal
The buyer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days without providing any reason.
The request must be submitted in writing to the seller.

Return Conditions
Returned items must include:
• invoice
• return form
• original packaging
• all accessories
All items must be returned complete and undamaged.
Non-Returnable Products
Products prepared in line with the consumer’s personal requests, perishable food items, and products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened are excluded.
Due to their hygienic nature, chocolate and food products cannot be returned once opened.
Default and Legal Consequences
If the buyer defaults on credit card payments, they accept responsibility for interest and legal consequences under their agreement with the bank.
Payment and Delivery
Payments can be made via:

• or credit card through the payment infrastructure on the site
Payment is charged at the time of order confirmation.
